British American Tobacco Austria  has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Activation Specialist in Vienna. 

You will support the operational delivery of marketing activations across retail, OOH and experiential environments. This role is perfect for someone who wants to see their work come to life in the real world and grow fast within a dynamic marketing team.

 

 Your key responsibilities will include:

Turn campaign plans into real experiences

  • Translate campaign briefs into clear activation plans and support execution across channels like retail, OOH and events.

 

Create and adapt retail communication

  • Develop and tailor POS and in store materials in collaboration with internal teams and creative partners.

 

Support flawless cross channel execution

  • Help deliver activations across retail, experiential and consumer environments ensuring strong brand consistency and on time delivery.

 

Coordinate agencies and suppliers

  • Manage timelines and collaboration with creative agencies, production partners and suppliers to keep all activities running smoothly.

 

Ensure consistent deployment of creative assets

  • Support the rollout of brand materials across all touchpoints making sure everything is aligned and high quality.

 

Monitor performance and support optimisation

  • Track execution quality, budgets and operational KPIs and help feed learnings back into planning for continuous improvement.

 

What are we looking for?

Marketing fundamentals

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Communication or a related field.

 

Language skills

  • Fluency in German and English.

 

Structured communication

  • Clear, organised and confident in handling multiple projects with different stakeholders.

 

A collaborative mindset

  • A strong team player with a can do attitude and a practical problem solving approach.

 

Digital confidence

  • Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel. SAP knowledge is a plus.

 

Curiosity and growth mindset

  • You want to learn, take ownership and grow within a fast moving marketing environment.

 

Additional plus

  • Experience supporting events, retail activations or agency projects is beneficial but not required.
