Job Title: Sourcing Manager

Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement end-to-end category strategies for Marketing, Sales, IT, FM, Professional Services, and Temporary Staff to ensure cost-effective and compliant sourcing.
- Lead the full "Source-to-Contract" process, including RFP/RFQ, vendor selection, and complex contract negotiations encompassing price, SLA, and payment terms.
- Analyze spend data and market trends to manage an annual portfolio of £49.7m and identify opportunities for cost reduction, standardization, and demand management.
- Identify emerging supplier capabilities and evaluate innovative solutions to drive value creation, transparency, and corporate sustainability goals.
- Streamline the active supplier base (currently 277 suppliers) by consolidating spend and reducing complexity while maintaining business continuity.
- Manage supplier performance through KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to ensure service levels meet business expectations and contractual obligations.
- Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to internal controls, governance policies, and ethical standards to uphold audit requirements.
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle and proactively mitigate supplier and contractual risks in a regulated or global business environment.
- Act as a strategic partner to internal functions (e.g., Marketing, Sales, HR, IT, Facilities, Finance) to ensure early procurement involvement and align sourcing priorities.
- Support above-market, Regional, and Global procurement activities, contributing to multi-functional teams to deliver substantial business process change.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant business discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Indirect Procurement or Category-based strategic sourcing (Transactional 'Buying' or simple PO processing experience will not be considered).
- Proven track record in managing multiple indirect categories, delivering cost savings (TCO reduction), and leading supplier consolidation initiatives.
- Fluent in both Korean and English, with the capability to solely conduct complex contract reviews, commercial negotiations, and dispute resolutions with global/local vendors without translation support.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), pricing levers, and negotiation techniques.
- Deep knowledge of the South Korean local supply market and relevant trade practices.
Preferences
- Experience working in multinational corporations (MNC) or matrix organizations with exposure to global procurement standards.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and contract management tools (e.g., SAP, iCertis, Coupa).
- Strong data-driven decision-making, spend analysis, and problem-solving skills in environments with differing stakeholder objectives.
- Familiarity with IWS principles, continuous improvement (Kaizen), or implementing ESG/EHS required actions.
- Basic understanding of tobacco excise processes or guidelines on imports & exports.
