ROLE SUMMARY
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
This role is part of Turkey Operations Finance Team.
The key part of this role involves assisting in the analysis of the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), including dedicated responsibility for COGS budgeting and performance tracking. This role is actively involved in identifying and calculating cost-saving opportunities across production and procurement, supporting business cases and tracking realized savings against targets. Financial planning and reporting are central to the role, including preparing and inputting data into Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) tools to support monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning. A significant focus is placed on cash flow analysis, where the role supports working capital optimization, monitors inventory trends, and evaluates the financial impact of operational decisions on liquidity.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Assisting in the analysis of the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), including dedicated responsibility for COGS budgeting and performance tracking

Identifying and calculating cost-saving opportunities across production and procurement, supporting business cases and tracking realized savings against targets.

Preparing and inputting data into Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) tools to support monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning.

Generating monthly operations finance reports and analysing key performance indicators.

Cash flow analysis, to support working capital optimization, monitoring inventory trends, and evaluating the financial impact of operational decisions on liquidity.

Ensuring compliance with SOX controls within the operations finance function, includes maintaining documentation of finance-related controls, executing control activities in a timely and accurate manner, and supporting internal and external audits with the necessary evidence and explanations

To comply with Company EHS & Security policies – act as a role model as LT team

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
Experience Required
-
At least 4 years of finance/accounting experience in global FMCG industry
-
Experience in manufacturing finance is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Requirements

Advanced IFRS knowledge (Turkish GAAP knowledge is a plus)

Proficiency in SAP modules and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to work with all levels within the organization
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration/economics/accounting/finance

Excellent command of verbal and written English
