Job Title: Line Lead
Location: Samsun
Job Type: Full-Time
Role Purpose
The Line Lead is accountable for end-to-end performance of assigned production line(s), including results, DMS, and team capability. The role drives delivery of business targets through effective application of IWS tools, with strong shopfloor leadership.
Standard working day (i.e. 8am to 5:30pm) from Monday to Friday with potential call-in, weekend support, or flow to shift coverage as the business requires.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead organization through the IWS Phase Journey
- Lead Daily Direction Setting (DDS) and ensure delivery of safety, quality, and production targets
- Drive performance improvements in OEE & MTBF and eliminate losses through structured problem solving
- Own Defect Handling, CIL, IE DMS processes and ensure sustainability
- Perform hands-on coaching on the 8 RTT DMS’s
- Develop and execute Line Master Plans and 90-day action plans
- Monthly review of Line Master Plans and results
- Coach and develop team leaders and frontline teams on the shopfloor
- Execute weekly Health Checks, identifying gaps in system, and implementing appropriate countermeasures
- Taking an active role in IWS pillars
- Optimizing production plans for the responsible lines in collaboration with the Planning Department
- Managing the leave and performance of direct reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience in lean manufacturing (min 7 years) , preferably FMCG
- Minimum 20–30 people team management experience
- Clear understanding of resource management (people and costs)
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Demonstrated leadership in the areas of safety and quality
- Proficiency in problem-solving tools (RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone)
- Advance MS Office & Power BI skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Advanced level of English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
