British American Tobacco Hungary has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Compliance Specialist in Pécs
This role is a meaningful part of the Quality Compliance Team ensuring the development, implementation and monitoring of global procedures for Multi Category Products. This includes supporting the development of quality compliance processes and tools, working with internal and external partners to promote a culture of quality compliance across the supply chain, assisting in collaboration and implementation of new tools as well as supporting global and local quality teams in conducting compliance reviews and health checks and leading the delivery of assigned projects to agreed time, quality and cost.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement global procedures for Multi Category Products, focusing on valuable benefits and simplification.
- Promote a strong culture of quality compliance through education, training, and capability building across teams and factories.
- Leverage knowledge, technologies, and best practices to drive an effective quality compliance framework for the product categories.
- Develop and deploy quality compliance processes and tools in collaboration with internal and external collaborators.
- Support global and local quality teams in compliance reviews and health checks to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
- Provide expert guidance to ensure the successful delivery of global and local projects related to quality compliance.
- Support Quality Category Managers in implementing new tools and ways of working that improve compliance.
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate quality compliance risks across product categories.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor degree in Applied Science, Industrial, Food Technology, Engineering Management, or a related area.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Operations and Quality, ideally in manufacturing or cross‑functional environments.
- Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and insightful approach, enabling effective problem solving.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Power BI is considered an advantage
- Ability to balance priorities and deliver high‑quality results within tight timelines.
- Strong project management, planning, and implementation capabilities.
- Effective engagement and collaboration skills, including working with global teams.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
