British American Tobacco Swizerland has an exciting opportunity for an Ex-retail Activation & Partnership Coordinator.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Planning, Coordination & Partnerships 
  • Support the Ex-Retail Activation & Partnership Executive in managing and implementing Ex-Retail activations across various platforms including festivals, HoReCa, hotspot promotions, and tactical events. 
  • Coordinate the preparation of creative concepts, execution plans, and logistics with agency partners, suppliers, and venue collaborators. 
  • Build, maintain, and activate a strong professional network within the Ex-Retail, HoReCa, and events ecosystem to identify and secure high-quality activation opportunities. 
  • Support partnership negotiations and ensure all collaborations are accomplished in line with BAT’s brand, compliance, and operational standards. 
  • Manage administrative and operational processes including POs, invoices, and vendor coordination. 

 

Execution & On-Ground Leadership 

  • Supervise on-site implementation of activations, ensuring outstanding delivery and adherence to brand and compliance guidelines. 
  • Identify improvement opportunities during and after activations, providing clear feedback and proposing optimizations for future events. (including competition overview) 

 

Performance & Continuous Improvement 

  • Monitor the performance of assigned activations and track important metrics including reach, trial, engagement, and qualitative feedback. 
  • Support post-event evaluations and offer analytical insights to the Ex-Retail Activation & Partnership Executive. 
  • Develop and propose new ideas to improve efficiency, consumer engagement, and execution quality. 

 

 

What are we looking for? 

  • Proven experience in event operations, brand activation, or project coordination (agency or client side). 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills; comfortable managing several projects simultaneously. 
  • Reliable, diligent, and able to deliver under time pressure. 
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. 
  • Solid understanding of basic marketing and activation principles. 
  • Strong Swiss German ex-retail partners network (festivals & HoReCa). 
  • Proficient in German and English; French an advantage. 
  • Confident user of MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel). 
  • Hands-on, proactive, and eager to address challenges effectively. 
  • Great teammate who communicates clearly and works effectively with others. 
  • Positive energy, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility. 
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of assigned projects and 
  • Enjoys dynamic environments, events, and consumer-facing activities.
